GSD includes chess as part of its educational offer from a dual perspective, contemplating it as a sport as well as teaching tool; we are pioneers in this area.

Chess used as a teaching tool helps develop longer attention and concentration spurts, develop analytical strategies, decisionmaking and creative problem-solving skills, logical thinking, while fostering positive values based on respect, responsibility, solidarity, patience, tolerance, discipline, and learning how to be a good sport, while also helping develop creativity and the imagination, and finally, contributing to forming logical and conceptual thinking processes.
